Nepal's cultural heritage is rich and diverse, evident in its historic cities like Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan, where ancient temples, palaces, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites stand as testaments to the country's glorious past. Nepal is also a major religious hub with many pilgrimage sites for followers of Buddhism and Hinduism, such as the Pashupatinath Temple and the Boudhanath Stupa.
After lunchtime, get ready for half day sightseeing at Kathmandu city. Tour highlights are-
- Swayambhunath Stupa. It is the oldest & significant of its kind in Nepal & has numerous shrines & monasteries on its premises. Swayambhu literally means “self-existent one”. Believed to date back to 460 A.D., it was built by King Manadeva. Foreigners often know it as “Monkey Temple” because monkeys have been residing here for centuries.
- Kathmandu's Durbar Square was where the city’s Kings were once crowned, legitimized & from where they ruled. Durbar is a Persian word which means palace. As such, the square remains the traditional heart of the old town & Kathmandu’s most spectacular legacy of traditional architecture. The durbar squares are full of temples, idols, open courts, water fountains & much more.
After sightseeing, our car will return you back to hotel. Rest of the time is free for guest.
Bus Journey
After early breakfast at hotel, be ready to travel to Pokhara by Tourist Bus. Pokhara is the most famous tourist city. On the way you will see panoramic views of Rivers, Hills, mountains and many more. Pokhara is especially renowned as city of lake, mountain and starting point of Annapurna circuits trekking. After reaching to Pokhara Bus Park, our car will pick and drop you to designated hotel. Overnight stay at Pokhara Hotel.
Please be ready at hotel lobby. Our car will pick you up and transfer to a place called Sarangkot which is one of the best place to see the sunrise in the world. After sunrise car will return you back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast you can start your remaining sightseeing of Pokhara. Sightseeing includes-
- Davis Fall which is located near the heart of Pokhara Lakhan Chowk, is one of the most popular tourist destination which offers a magnificent view of the waterfall to witness the grandeur of nature as you see this colossal fall struggling with rocks to set itself free.
- Guptshwor Mahadev cave. It is famous for housing one of the most revered Hindu shrines in Nepal. Inside, you will find a massive stalagmite that represents the Hindu God Shiva. It is considered a sacred place of worship and many Hindu devotees visit the cave throughout the year.
- Mountain Museum is an expansive museum which is devoted to the mountains of Nepal, the mountaineers who climbed them and the people who call them home. Inside, you can see original gear from many of the first Himalayan ascents, as well as displays on the history, culture, geology, flora and fauna of the Himalaya. etc.
After sightseeing, our car will return you back to hotel.
After early breakfast at hotel, please be ready at hotel lobby. Our car will drop you off at the tourist Bus Park. After the bus journey, you will reach Kathmandu. Our vehicle will pick you up from tourist Bus Park & transfer you to Nagarkot by private transport. Check-in at the hotel.
Nagarkot is known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest as well as other peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. Nagarkot also offers views of the Kathmandu Valley. The scenery of the place makes it popular hiking route for tourists.
